My gaming habits have been a bit all over the place lately. I’m playing in short spurts, sometimes only logging in to check on a couple things before shutting everything down. Because I’m not fully immersed in a game, I’m kind of cycling through a couple at the moment. Pokemon Go is obviously always on, and I’m in the end game of Pokopia now. But this month, the first Powerwash Simulator 2 DLC dropped and I’ve been slowly chipping away at it. Let’s start there.

I randomly remembered that a DLC was coming in April and was delighted to find the new pack plus a new free level already available. A miniature town was my first stop and it was so cute! I loved all the little figurines and intricacies. It was a pretty big level and took some time to get through, but it was very satisfying.

After I finished that, I started the new DLC which is Adventure Time. While I know what that is, I’ve never seen it, so I’m not familiar with the locations. I love how the DLCs embody the worlds they come from and take on very cartoony looks with vibrant colors and squiggly lines. Even your character evolves to fit the universe. I’m trying to go through it very slowly because the DLC only has a handful of levels. I’ve been playing while I’m on the exercise bike which is the ultimate exercise hack and since levels can take a good amount of time, I’m riding from anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour without realizing how much time has passed. I think I only have one more level left so I’m waiting and sad it’s already almost over.

In the meantime, Pokemon Go has a sustainability week event going on and they released a new Pokemon that only shows in desert biomes. I happened across Silicobra out in another city while at a doctor’s appointment, but never saw them around me. After doing some more reading and research, it seems that Pokemon Go expanded some of the definitions of desert biomes and I was able to find a heat map to show where I could find them around me. Since I am a dork, I spent a couple hours today checking out some spots and ended up finding a bunch! I am keeping them all and saving them for remote trading since it appears a lot of people can’t get their hands on it.

If I had more time, I probably would’ve visited a beach to snag some extra Wigletts, but I’ve found them before and I can probably do it again… although my last two beach trips I’ve seen none which is annoying. The extras I had of it were given away to friends so I need to get more at some point.

And lastly, my Pokopia play has changed a bit since beating the story. I’m on a mission to complete my Pokedex and make houses for all my Pokemon, but I’m also feeling a bit lazy. The redesign process is a bit slow and tedious, especially when you have to take breaks to eat and recharge. I’ve been starting to reshape some parts of my islands, but most of the time, I’m building little habitats to get more Pokemon. The rest of this might be a little spoiler so continue at your own discretion.

I finally finished “the wall” and was able to get one of my favorite Pokemon to move in. Mew has officially joined my crew and I’ve also rediscovered Mewtwo along with the last of the legendary dogs (or cats? idk honestly).
Mewtwo was found during the story but ends up disappearing. I found him on a Dream Island randomly before I even found the last of the legendaries. Entei, which is my favorite of the three, was the last one I found and I almost didn’t find him! I couldn’t find an entrance to any cave so I just started smashing into the mountain to see if I was just an idiot, and I ended up barreling right into him!

I guess that’s kind of it right now. I’m getting close to leveling in Pokemon Go again. I’m getting closer to finishing my Pokedex in Pokopia… and I’m sadly one level away from waiting for more Powerwash content. As I’m coming to a close on multiple games, I need to start thinking about what the next might be. Maybe Crimson Desert? I’m not sure. We will see what the future holds!
