My gaming habits have been kind of all over the place lately. I’m not playing very often and that’s probably because a lot of other changes have happened. I adopted a kitten and I’ve gotten back into some other hobbies like playing with fire and doing aerial more often. But that’s not what this blog is about! It’s about important things, like standing in people’s faces while they talk in Destiny.

I am anxiously awaiting a few games that are coming later this year. Borderlands 4, Little Nightmares 3, Reanimal, PowerWash Simulator 2, and I’m sure many others. But for now, I’m playing the latest Destiny expansion, Pokemon Go and PowerWash Simulator.

Destiny’s latest expansion is a huge reset and tbh I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m just playing, trying to level up, and it’s kind of fun not being overpowered for everything. I will say I hate the new location, but I’ve reignited my love for PVP and I’m having fun running through activities I hadn’t done before because I stopped playing. I never played Kell’s Fall before and I think it is my favorite exotic mission.

I truly don’t have a lot of screenshots of things lately because I haven’t been playing. And tbh, I don’t think many people are interested in PowerWash Simulator images, lol. It is honestly a great game and my favorite way to disassociate. I’ve been working through expansions like Tomb Raider, Spongebob, Midgar, and Back to the Future. I’m currently doing Wallace and Gromit, and I think that might be my last expansion… Then, I’ve completed all of the maps and DLCs for the game. Sad face.

Oh, but the biggie… the big one is Pokemon Go. Right now there is a dynamax finale weekend that is iinnssaanneeee XP and with how many raids are popping, I am getting millions in XP. I wish I took a screenshot of where I started before this began. With lucky eggs, the Externatus raids are giving 100k XP with every completion. Giga raids are dropping 50k… Not to mention the crazy amount of stardust. I’m on the cusp of level 49 and would be if it weren’t for the level up requirements… 35 platinum medals… and I’m at 32. I guess the silver lining is I’m already padding some XP so when I get to 49, the grind to 50 might feel less painful? Or is that just a way to cope? I know those level up requirements are gonna hurt.

Externatus is only available once through the pass and it is super easy to get because completing raids just powers you through the ranks. Unfortunately, mine was a 2 star, but whatever. I have it! The cool thing is the amount of gigamax raids I got to do that I never did the first go around. The amount of people who can join was increased to 100 and there were so many people in every single raid that they were easy to complete. On top of that, there was a shiny bonus and I got some cool catches from that too. These aren’t all of them, but some of the big ones.

The event continues tomorrow and I’m not sure if I am gonna participate because there is obviously a cost to doing this much raiding. I am needing to get these platinum medals done and most are a huge grind. I’m one showcase win away from finishing my 33rd medal though so I’ve gotta figure out what my last 2 medals will be. They’re all going to be a lot of work (or they are locked behind things like regions or stuff not being released) so I’m gonna be stuck at 48 for a while.

So that’s the latest. Borderlands will be out in a couple of weeks so I’m sure that’ll take over my life. But for now, I’m being attacked by a crazy kitten so I’m gonna wrap this up.
